CLINICAL SUPERVISION:
Clinical supervision is fundamental to all those working in the behavioural field, whether that be seeking qualifications and accreditations or supporting and enhancing current working practices.
Clinical supervision is available to support people with a view to becoming qualified in:
- Positive Behaviour Support Diploma (Levels 1-5).
- Registered Behaviour Technicians, (RBTs).
- Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analysts, (BCaBAs).
- Board Certified Behaviour Analysts, (BCBAs).
Peer supervision is also available to those already working in the field, to keep up to date with the scientific research, get support around individual cases and work in accordance with the ‘Behaviour Analyst Certification Board's' Ethics Code.
INDIVIDUAL SPECIALIST SUPPORT:
Enabling someone to improve their skill set and enhance their quality of life, is an incredibly rewarding process to facilitate and an essential element of our Autism support in Hereford.
When it comes to supporting learners to learn new skills the following skill-based curriculums are used:
- Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)
- Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS)
- Verbal Behaviour Milestones Assessment and Placement Programme (VB-MAPP)
- Assessment of Functional Life Skills (AFLS)
When it comes to supporting children and adults with ‘behaviours of concern,' a Positive Behaviour Support model is used. Support offered includes:
- Conducting functional assessments
- Devising individualised, multi-component, function-based interventions
- Delivering Behaviour Skills Teaching (clients, staff, parents).
- Providing on-going monitoring, evaluation, and data-driven decisions, with follow-up consultations
SERVICE SUPPORT:
To make significant, lasting changes in people's behaviour, systemic change is necessary. When the right systems are implemented and followed, the culture, effectiveness and efficiency of a place will improve. Such changes are made by adopting and following an ‘Organisational Behaviour Management' (OBM) model.
Service support can be offered in educational and social care settings, to:
- Develop new PBS systems and strategies
- Develop new PBS policies and procedures
- Design and implement new data collection procedures
